Sauté Pan Pasta... so quick and easy!All you need is pasta (any shape) and some fresh items from your refrigerator. This is a good way to use up the produce you forgot about in the crisper drawer before it goes bad. Start with Pasta al Olio as your base pasta, then use the pasta dish ideas below or add all your favorite fresh ingredients or whatever you need to use up from the refrigerator for a new concoction. Manga!
Directions
Cook pasta, drain and return to pot with half of olive oil. Pour the rest of the olive oil in a sauté pan over medium heat and add minced garlic. Sauté garlic 1 minute then add other fresh ingredients of your choice from below ideas if desired. Sauté another 2 minutes then add enough pasta to fill pan. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and dry basil, oregano or Italian seasoning. Toss all the ingredients together in pan. Plate pasta in shallow bowls and top with chopped basil or parsley if you have them. Serve with parmesan cheese on the table.
